Shipping & Tracking
When will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 4–7 business days. As soon as it leaves our hands, we’ll send you an email with tracking info so you can watch its journey to your couch. (And yes, shipping is free on all orders. No minimums required).
How do I track my order?
Once your order is handed off to the carrier, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. You can obsessively refresh that page until your pillow arrives.
Do you ship internationally?
Right now, we’re keeping things domestic. But we’re hoping to send our opinions worldwide in the future.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all the usual suspects: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and Apple Pay/Google Pay for when you don't want to get up to find your wallet.
I made a mistake. Can I change or cancel my order?
If you catch us fast enough, we can try. Email us at hello@moodtheorystudio.com as soon as possible. Once an order starts processing, it’s locked in and out of our hands.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Changed your mind? We get it. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. The pillows just need to be unused and in their original condition.
How do I start a return?
Easy. Just shoot us an email at hello@moodtheorystudio.com with your order number, and we’ll get the process started.
Product & Care
Does the pillow come with the insert, or is it just the cover?
You get the whole package. Every order includes the soft-touch velvet cover and a structured insert so it’s ready to sit on your sofa immediately.
How do I wash it?
It’s pretty low maintenance. Just unzip and remove the insert first. Machine wash the cover on cold, then tumble dry low or hang it to dry. Do not bleach it, and please, do not iron the velvet.
Can I write my own custom statement?
Not at the moment! We’re sticking to our own carefully curated opinions for now.
My Account
Do I need an account to place an order?
Nope, you can completely check out as a guest. But creating an account makes it much faster the next time you need to buy a last-minute gift (or treat yourself again).
I forgot my password. How do I get back in?
It happens to the best of us. Just hit the "Forgot Password" link on the login page, enter your email, and we’ll send you a link to reset it.
